Sometimes the best love stories don’t belong with years of friendship, a carefully planned first date, or some grand romantic gesture. Sometimes they begin with a Hinge match on July 4th. For Nick and Emily, that simple match turned into a spontaneous first date and from there, everything just fell into place.
What started unexpectedly became something neither of them could have planned. Eventually, that first date led them to White Willow Farms in Arcadia, Indiana. Where they gathered with the people closest to them to become husband and wife. Their White Willow Farms wedding was emotional, intimate, and a beautiful reflection of the relationship they had built together.
When Emily thinks back to the beginning of their relationship, one of the first things that stood out about Nick was how much of a gentleman he was. His kindness was impossible to miss. For Nick, his first impression’s of Emily was a little different. He remembers her spontaneous moments, her beauty, and just how much fun she was to be around.
It didn’t take long for those first impressions to become something much deeper. Their relationship continued to grow naturally, without needing to be forced or overcomplicated. And when it came to it, Nick proposed to Emily. It was a quiet, personal, and completely fitting for the kind of love they had built together.

Their wedding day carried that same sense of intimacy, setting among the countryside of Arcadia at White Willow Farms. The venue provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration that felt rustic, soft, soft and timeless. Their wedding colors of blush pink, creams, black, and gold added romantic touches throughout the day while complementing the natural beauty of the farm.
But more than anything, their day felt emotional, intimate, and personal. It was about celebrating Emily and Nick who had somehow gone from a spontaneous date to sharing the same last name and spending their forever together.
Filming weddings at White Willow Farms is one of my favorite venues to work at, check out some other weddings I have filmed at White Willow Farms, a Classical Love Story. Looking for that rustic barn look and feel without an actual barn White Willow Farms, is one of the most popular wedding venues. One of the more recent wedding films with Peyton and Hunter.

One of the things that stood out most about Nick and Emily’s story is that marriage didn’t feel like the beginning of something completely new, it felt like a new chapter that was already strong. Marriage simply just gave them another reason to celebrate it, they never thought they could love each other more about their relationship than any elaborate wedding detail could.

For me these stories are the stories that make wedding films so meaningful. It isn’t just the pretty dress, the stunning florals, or the beautiful venue but the moments underneath it all. From the first time Nick and Emily saw each other walking down the aisle was pure emotional, and beautiful. As shown in the film, you can see how emotional Nick was seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. And those beautiful personal vows they shared together was the icing on the cake making their wedding ceremony absolutely emotional and intimate.
As shown in their wedding film, Nick and Emily’s White Willow Farms outside wedding was emotional, intimate, and completely their own. From a spontaneous first date to a simple proposal at home and finally saying “I do” surrounding themselves by the people they love, their love story is a beautiful reminder that the best things in life come from spontaneous moments and from a swipe right.

With over 13 years of filmmaking experience, I’ve had the privilege of capturing over 300 weddings. Each time a couple steps in front of my lens, I’m reminded of exactly why I do this: because there’s no feeling like committing to forever with the person you love the most. And while it can’t be recreated, film is the next best thing. Through intentional framing and thoughtful editing, your film will put you back in that moment, in all of its beauty and depth.

Your film should tell the story of your day in a way that is full and complete, yet that feels like a movie: rich with movement, music, and emotion. And through it all, you deserve an experience that’s completely seamless and stress-free. So you can be fully present on your wedding day, knowing that each treasured moment is documented forever.
